Broadcast Group CME Stops Sale of Television in Slovenia

18 January 2019
Broadcaster Central European Media Enterprises (CME) (CETV.O) (CETV.PR) announced that it will keep its Slovenian television networks. The decision was made after a long-running regulatory process held up plans to pay down debt, according to Reuters.
CME operates television stations in four other Central European countries. The company announced in mid-2017 that it would sell its Croatian and Slovenian operations to help cut on debts topping US$ 1bn.
